I’ve lived in a small, Midwest town for over half of my life. After graduating from college, I moved back home from Georgia, where I lived for five, fantastic years. I studied creative writing at my University and dreamed of publishing novels. Needless to say, I’ve found myself inside a rut, which—if what I’ve heard from others my age is to be believed—is all too common.
I’ve been working on my first book for the last five years, and while I’m nearly finished, I cannot see it being published for at least another year.
A writer at heart, a blog seemed like the best outlet for my creative passions. However, it was my ingenious older sister who proposed the idea and helped me through the process. It gives me a chance to pump my writing juices and connect with like minded creatives, who may or may not be experiencing a struggle of their own. The Character Cafe is a virtual gathering place for those with wild minds and unbound souls.
This, in and of itself, should prove to be an incredibly interesting adventure!
